FEI.com for Owners was created for FEI microscope owners and users worldwide, and the content contained therein is for their exclusive use.

If you are an owner or user of an FEI instrument, below are instructions and helpful hints for becoming a member of FEI.com for Owners, and for troubleshooting potential login and account issues.

Q:Who can become a member of FEI.com for Owners?
A: Anyone who owns or uses an FEI instrument is eligible. A valid microscope serial number is required for access to this area.

Q: How do I register?
A: You'll need three pieces of information to register; your microscope type/family, microscope serial number, and a known FEI customer e-mail address domain. Navigate to http://fei.com/owners and click the “Register” link to become a member.

Q: How do I register for FEI.com for Owners?
A: Simply navigate to the FEI.com for Owners home page, click on "Register", and fill out the required information. If your information is validated, you'll be granted instant access to FEI.com for Owners.

Q: What can I expect to find in FEI.com for Owners?
A: FEI.com for Owners contains information on upgrades and accessories for your instrument, customer training and FEI UserClub information, and FEI Connect, our exclusive online community of FEI microscope owners, users, and application specialists.

Q: Can I invite additional users in my workplace or institution to participate?
A: Yes. Any owner of user of an FEI instrument is eligible to participate. They may use the same instrument serial number to register provided their e-mail domain is valid.

Q: What is "FEI Connect"?
A: FEI Connect is an exclusive online community of FEI microscope owners and users from around the world. It is a place where you can connect and interact with others who have similar interests and specialties. You can also connect with FEI application specialists if you have specific topics or issues to discuss.

Q: I’m having trouble registering for FEI.com for Owners. What should I do?
A: First, check that your microscope serial number is valid. If it is, ensure that the e-mail address domain you are using belongs to a known FEI customer (generic e-mail accounts are not allowed). If you don't find the answer you need on this Help page, you can send an e-mail to owners@fei.com. Please include your name, company, e-mail address, microscope type, and serial number.

Q: I forgot my username and password. What should I do?
A: Your username is the e-mail address you used during registration. If you forgot your password, first try using your e-mail address as your password. If that fails, go to the FEI.com for Owners home page at http://owners.fei.com and click the “forgot password” link inside the login box. You will be asked to enter your e-mail address, click on the “Reset Password” button, and a temporary password will be sent to you.

Q: I am having trouble logging in. What do I do?
A: If you are having trouble logging in, first ensure that you are using the correct e-mail address. Next, enter the password you provided during registration. If that fails, try using your e-mail address as your password. If you have forgotten your password and your e-mail address fails, click on the “login trouble?” link in the login box, and follow the instructions to reset your password. If this fails to correct the problem, send us your information using the Login Trouble form located at http://www.fei.com/login-trouble.aspx.

Q: I'm concerned about privacy. How can I be sure my information is protected?
A: FEI Company values your private information, and fully protects any information you share with us. Please review our Privacy Policy for more information on how your information is used and protected. The Privacy policy can be found at http://www.fei.com/privacy-policy.aspx.

Q: I need to change my registration information. How can I do that?
A: To change your information, simply navigate to the FEI.com for Owners home page, log in with your e-mail address and password, then choose "Manage Profile" in the Owners navigation menu.
